Charlie Sheen & Brooke Mueller Expecting a Baby

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller’s summer of love, which began with their wedding in May, is closing with more exciting news: They are expecting their first child together, his rep confirms.

“Brooke and I are thrilled!” Sheen said in a statement Monday. “She’s the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she’ll be an amazing mom. Unless I bat 100 percent, perhaps a boy awaits us.”

Sheen, 42, already has three daughters: Sam, 4, and Lola, 3, with ex-wife Denise Richards, and Cassandra, 23, with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt.

“Brooke found out for sure on Friday and is thrilled to death,” a family source tells PEOPLE. “Brooke loves Charlie very much and has wanted a baby for some time.”

The pregnancy doesn’t come as a major surprise: The pair began talking kids right after their wedding, with Mueller joking that she wanted triplets. “Could you imagine if I really had triplets?” she told Extra in June. “He’d be like, ‘Whoa!’”

The couple were married in front of about 60 close friends and family at a private estate in Los Angeles in May. Earlier this month, Sheen, 42, reflected on married life with Mueller, saying it’s “fabulous.” He added, “We’re having a ball. I’m the luckiest man in the world.”

DENISE SHOW IS CANCELED

E! has pink-slipped Denise Richards’ reality show.

Richards, who went to court last year to fight ex-husband Charlie Sheen for rights to have their children appear on the show “It’s Complicated,” turned out to be a less-than-stellar reality star.

A show low-light was her confrontation with an editor for a magazine over how she has been portrayed in the tabloid press.

“The numbers started out pretty good - just over 1.5 million tuned in for the premiere episode,” a source told “The Insider” yesterday. “But the audience has dropped off. ”

Denise Richards Accused Charlie Sheen Of Molesting Their Daughters!

DENISE Richards went too far when she falsely accused her ex, Charlie Sheen, of molesting their daughters - and now Sheen will move for full custody of the kids by charging that their mother is a liar.

Richards dragged Sheen into a Los Angeles courtroom early last week for a mysterious “emergency” child-custody hearing to screen videos of their girls, Sam and Lola, supposedly acting in strange and disturbing ways. Sheen’s lawyers - who got the “evidence” dismissed - presented their own videos of the girls acting normally at his house.

A source said, “Denise’s accusations were vile. She was basically trying to say Charlie [manipulated] the kids and acted inappropriately with them. It’s disgusting and totally untrue. Charlie is furious . . . Denise has really pushed it too far this time.

“She came after Charlie because the ratings on her E! reality show [’It’s Complicated’] have tanked and they were threatening not to renew,” the source said.

“She thinks a court battle would be good for ratings so she wants all overnight visits with the girls ceased, and monitored visits with her nanny. She invited the media circus to the hearing and even wanted reporters in the judge’s chambers - which wasn’t allowed. It’s ridiculous.”

Sheen is said to be so furious, he’s “out to prove Denise’s lack of veracity and sue her in civil court for defamation. Then he’ll sue for child custody.

“Sheen feels Richards has defamed him, especially after she denied sending [current wife] Brooke an e-mail in which she claims to want his sperm for another child. Richards says the e-mail is a fake. Sheen claims he has the e-mail and is getting forensic computer geeks to verify its authenticity.

“Charlie has now been forced to take a stand and do what’s best for the girls,” our insider said. Reps for Richards and Sheen declined comment.

Denise Richards Reality Show To Be Axed

Denise Richards' reality show is facing the axe because of falling viewer figures, according to reports.

"Denise Richards: It's Complicated" launched on E! earlier this year and was an instant hit, allowing viewers a sneak peak into the actress' life with her two daughters with ex-husband Charlie Sheen.

But sources claim the way she handled her public battle with Sheen over custody of Lola, 3, and Sam, 2, has turned viewers off.

An insider tells Star magazine, "The numbers started out pretty good -- just over 1.5 million tuned into the premiere episode. But the audience has dropped off. Denise has turned into an unappealing reality star."

Richards' bad language on the program has also angered the public.

The source adds, "Viewers were disgusted that a mother of two young girls would use such foul language."

But the Denise Richards will be watching from home.

"I love the show, that is my popcorn night with my girls," she said. "I love to watch the dancing, the girls love looking at the dresses."

As for her own reality show, Denise said another season of "It's Complicated" could be in the cards.

"We're having great conversations about season two," she told Access.

Richards-Sheen custody battle returns to court

Denise Richards went to court Monday seeking changes to a custody arrangement with ex-husband Charlie Sheen - but didn’t get everything she wanted.

Richards and her attorney brought a video to Los Angeles Superior Court to try to bolster their case, but a court commissioner did not view it.

Instead, he listened to two experts’ views and ordered changes to the agreement that were characterized by Sheen’s attorney as “nothing meaningful” - and by Richards’ attorney as beneficial for the pair’s two young daughters.

Richards’ attorney, Neal Hersh, acknowledged that Superior Court Commissioner Harvey A. Silberman refused to grant some of the items requested during Monday’s closed-door hearing. Hersh did not specify what changes were sought.

Hersh and Sheen’s attorney, Fern Wender, declined to discuss Silberman’s orders. They also refused to say what type of experts testified, or what was on the video that Richards hoped to introduce.

“The commissioner denied the majority” of Richards’ motion, Wender said afterward.

Sheen did not appear, but Wender said he was pleased with the outcome.

Hersh said the changes that were intact will be positive for the couple’s children, assuming both parents enact them.

Hersh sought changes last week, citing “serious issues involving the children,” but a hearing was not conducted in part because Silberman was on vacation.

Richards, who sat in court on Monday alongside her father throughout much of the morning indicated she was also satisfied with Silberman’s rulings.

The couple completed a bitter divorce in 2006, and have since waged a contentious battle over the custody and care of their daughters, 4-year-old Sam and 3-year-old Lola.
